STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST FOR UT OF J&K and UT OF LADAKH    (JKSET/LASET 2023)
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1.       Read the Notification and Information Bulletin carefully before applying online. The Information Bulletin can be downloaded from this page or from the official website of JKSET/LASET (www.jujkset.in). The candidates must read the 'ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA' and must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for JKSET/LASET Examination before filling the Form.

3.        Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application (i.e. multiple Application Forms) submitted by a candidate will not be accepted.

4.       It is compulsory to pay the Examination fee online first (Step-1)  and then Register for JKSET/LASET Examination after payment of fee (Step-2). The  transaction reference number generated  after the successful transaction and mobile number will be treated as confirmation keys for all the online windows.  Applications submitted in any other format or in Hard Copy will not be accepted by JKSET Agency.

5.        Please note down the system generated Transaction reference number, office reference number and Application Number for future use.

6.         Application Procedure: The application can be filled in three steps
          
Step 1. Pay Fee online,  print the fee receipt for future use.
            Step 2. Register yourself, upload your recent photo
(<50KB in .jpg/.jpeg) and signature(<50KB in .jpg/.jpeg) using Transaction Ref. No.
            Step 3. Fill up the application form correctly giving all the details and Print it for future use.

7.        Fill up the correct information in the Application Form including the name of the UT for which you are appearing, category (Unreserved/SC/ST/OSC/RBA etc.), Post-graduation degree & Subject.

8.       The Photo Id card (PAN/Aadhar/DL/Voter Card/Passport) detail given in the application will be used during verification of the candidate on the examination day.

9.        After the final submission of Application Form by a candidate, correction, if any, is allowed in certain specific fields only during correction window schedule as specified in the Notification. No communication in this regard would be entertained after closing of correction window.

10.  Candidates are required to complete the process of the Application Form within the prescribed   schedule. There shall be no extension in the last date of submission in any case under any circumstances.

11.   The SET Agency does not verify the information provided by the candidates during online registration. The candidature, hence will be purely provisional, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria. Candidates, in their own interest, must ensure themselves about their eligibility for the test. In the event of any ineligibility being detected by the SET Agency at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action.

12.   The Reservation policy for JKSET/LASET is as per the existing policies of UT of J &K (for JKSET) and UT of Ladakh (for LASET). The candidates of other States except UT of J & K and Ladakh, belonging to Reserved Categories shall be treated as Open/Unreserved Category.

13.    Candidates are neither required to send any certificates/documents in support of their eligibility nor printout of their Application Form  to JKSET Agency unless they qualify in JKSET/LASET. 

14.    Candidates will be solely responsible for the wrong entries in the online Application Form as well as in the OMR sheet (Answer Sheet).
